Craving your Tuesday taco?

Here’s how to make delicious tacos without the guilty taco tummy that follows.

What you’ll need:

Grilled chicken (you can purchase them packaged and prepared)

Lettuce

Tortillas (multigrain)- you save 40 calories

Diced tomatoes/Salsa

Shredded cheddar cheese (reduced fat)- saves half the calories

if you must have sour cream, make sure it’s Daisy lite (it’s a third fewer calories and half the fat)

Assemble the ingredients to your liking.

This is an easy meal to prepare, and is affordable.

It’s not that fattening, especially when you use low-fat ingredients.  It fills you up without making you feel regret.

  1. Taco Tuesdays are definitely one of my favorites, it’s nice to see a healthy recipe to incorporate into my schedule. Maybe we can get a healthy margarita recipe next? 🙂
